December 2015, my grandmother gifted me my very first purse to fill for women in need. This led to collecting and filling over 400 purses to date.

Here are some of the lovely people that have donated or been a drop off location for us along the way.

We have donated purses & bags in Virginia, North Carolina, & Washington, D.C. We often team up with other community organizations to donate items during their event.

In 2016 and 2021, we collected items to for a Back To School Drive.

Everyone in the family was able to leave with items they needed.

October 2021, we collected donations to give a mother in need a baby shower. Everything needed was donated such as the food, the decorations, & the gifts. The mom-to-be was able to invite a few family and friends to celebrate her bundle of joy.

December 2021, we collected money and items to adopt a family for Christmas. The mother was in the hospital with covid while the father and 3 children were home with covid. We spoke with the family and got a list of items they wanted a needed. A few days before Christmas, we drove to Emporia, VA to make the special delivery to the family.

January 2023, we began the new year by accepting donations for a purse drive. We were able to fill 38 purses and donated them to  Home Again Shelter in Richmond, VA with lots of empty purses and bags left over to be filled throughout the year.
